How can I order a painting?
You can find the inquiry form (not a deposit!) at the portrait request form page. There will be instructions on the process there! You have the option between a hand painted acrylic piece (4 weeks work time), a digital painting print (2 weeks work time), and more with varying add-ons. Pieces that are more complex will require more time and may come at additional costs. These will be noted up front.
What styles of art can you do?
Our personal style is a blend of realism and cartoon, leaning into realism a bit heavier. This isn't to be confused with photorealism! Don't expect a 1:1 copy of a photo or reference you send, it will still look painted and stylistic. We've also done cartoon commissions referencing styles from nostalgic tv shows. Outside of acrylic paintings, we offer works in charcoal, graphite, linocut printing, and marker.
What is a digital painting print?
We create our paintings digitally through two programs: Procreate and Adobe Illustrator. It's the same use of color theory, shading, blending, and color mixing as it would be on a traditional canvas, but instead on a screen. These paintings are then printed on CANON satin photo paper or through our printing provider, Printicular, for pieces larger than 8x10in.
What is a canvas print?
We can print our digital paintings onto a canvas stretched and stapled to a wooden frame, but this will come at an upcharge starting at $100. This price will vary by piece.
